Free beta terms
Use the tool as an organizer—not an approval stamp.
These terms explain the boundaries of the current free beta. They are not paid commercial terms, and they will be replaced before subscriptions or other paid services are offered.
Last updated: 19 July 20261. What EU Listing Check provides
EU Listing Check turns user-entered information into an information summary, saved product record and marketplace preparation text based mainly on Article 19 of Regulation (EU) 2023/988. Users may optionally save the source they used to review manufacturer details.
The service does not visit or verify that source, inspect a product, test its safety, certify compliance, act as an EU Responsible Person, act for a marketplace or provide legal advice.
2. Your responsibility
You are responsible for checking that information is complete, accurate, current and suitable for the countries and marketplaces where a product is offered. A completed information summary only means the requested fields contain answers.
Product-specific rules can impose requirements beyond this check. Obtain qualified professional advice when the product, market or risk calls for it.
3. Account and age
Sign-in is optional for the free beta. If you use sign-in, keep access to your account secure and do not use another person’s account without permission.
If you are not legally able to agree to online service terms where you live, use the service only with permission and oversight from a parent, guardian or other legally authorized adult. Paid plans will not be activated until appropriate contracting and payment arrangements are in place.
4. Information you enter
You keep responsibility for the product information you enter. You give the service only the permission needed to store, process and display that information to operate the features you request.
Do not upload information you have no right to use, confidential material that should not be in a cloud service, malicious content, or unnecessary sensitive personal data. Manufacturer and business contact details can still be personal data when they identify an individual.
5. Fair use
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass access or request limits, probe other users’ data, automate abusive traffic, or use the beta for unlawful or deceptive activity.
6. Availability and changes
This is an evolving free beta. Features may change, experience interruptions or be withdrawn. Keep independent copies of important records using the workspace backup and marketplace export tools.
7. No guarantee
The beta is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent allowed by applicable law, no promise is made that results will be error-free, legally sufficient for a particular product, accepted by a marketplace, or continuously available. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
Not final commercial terms
Before a paid public launch, the final terms must identify the service operator, provide contact details, state the applicable contracting entity and governing terms, explain cancellation and billing, and be reviewed for the launch countries. No paid plan is currently offered.
Regulatory source
The check’s present scope is explained in the app. Read the binding source directly before relying on any summary.
